All About YOU – KVP Creator Team 2025
The first KVP Creator Team photoshoot of the season was so special. The girls voted, and their theme choice couldn’t have been more perfect: “All About YOU.” It’s a reminder that before the deadlines, college decisions, and big milestones, they’re still teens — each with a story worth celebrating. And then to see them all together, each one unique and special in her own way was “chef’s kiss” for this photographer.
We met at the Goodyear Civic Center – open shade, a mix of architecture and greenery, and endless little spots that let each girl shine in her own way. They brought props that spoke to who they are right now — and that’s where the magic happened.
Selena? She’s just a vibe all on her own. Cool without trying, slipping on sunglasses for a few shots just because she could. Every time I click the shutter on her, I think: this is what it looks like when someone owns who they are.
Dixie showed up spunky as ever with a pencil and her beloved Hunger Games book. My girl has always loved to write and draw, and it was so her to bring something creative. Seeing her laugh with her friends in between pages made my mama heart swell.
Sabrina brought her signature moody vibe, rocking her SENIOR jeans and a Disney tank top — her family’s love for Disney runs deep. There’s something about her presence, a mix of strength and sass, that makes her unforgettable on camera.
The girls even requested a stop at the giant chessboard, and of course, we worked it in. Because that’s the heart of this team: collaboration, creativity, and letting them lead.
But my favorite part? The way they laugh together. The way they celebrate each other’s quirks, strengths, and differences. They gel in this rare, beautiful way — and I get the front-row seat to watch them becoming.
As a mom, I know what this season means. These girls are on the cusp of adulthood, and sometimes it feels like the countdown clock is ticking too fast. My prayer for each of them is that they find little reprieves like this — spaces to just be kids a moment longer, spaces where they feel free to be fully themselves.
And to the moms reading this: I see you. I know how much you love your daughter and how fiercely you want to see her flourish. That’s why I do this. Because these photos aren’t just pictures — they’re reminders of who our girls are right now, before life carries them into the next chapter.
Be on the lookout for applications for the 2025-2026 season.
