Specializing in capturing family memories and high school senior portraits for moms across Avondale, Buckeye, Goodyear, Surprise and Litchfield Park
Hi, I’m Kim.
I’m a family, senior, and milestone photographer serving Avondale, Goodyear, Buckeye, Litchfield Park, Surprise, and the West Valley of Phoenix.
I’m also a mom of two teenagers, which means I’m living my own “don’t blink” season right alongside you.
Some of my favorite moments as a mom have been the ordinary ones—packing lunches, cheering from the sidelines, bedtime stories, and the laughter that seems to happen when no one is paying attention. Those are the moments I never want to forget.
Years ago, I fell in love with a photograph of my grandmother wearing her wedding dress. That single image inspired me to wear the same dress on my own wedding day, and today my daughter hopes to wear it too. That’s when I realized photographs aren’t just pictures—they become part of a family’s legacy.
That’s why I do what I do.
I don’t believe your family has to be perfect to create beautiful photographs. I believe the best images come from genuine connection, shared laughter, and simply being together.
My goal is to create a calm, encouraging experience where you can stop worrying about getting everything just right and focus on the people you love. I’ll take care of the details so you can be present.
Because childhood doesn’t wait.
And one day, these ordinary moments will become the stories your family treasures most.
Be present. I’ll preserve this season.
I love Arizona.
I love the golden sunsets, the desert trails, the sunflower fields, and the quiet beauty that surrounds us here in the West Valley
But after years of photographing families, I’ve learned something:
The magic isn’t actually in the location.
It’s in what happens there.
It’s your child reaching for your hand while walking through the desert. It’s the laughter that happens when no one is trying to pose. It’s the moment you look at your family and realize, “I want to remember this.”
From Buckeye to Goodyear, Surprise to Litchfield Park, Arizona gives us the perfect backdrop to slow down and enjoy the people who matter most.
Because one day, you’ll look back at these photographs and remember more than where you were.
You’ll remember how this season felt.

Family memories and high school senior portraits are where my heart is
Senior year is a big deal. These sessions are all about celebrating who you are right now—your style, your personality, your story. As a mom of two high schoolers, I know how fast this time goes. Let’s capture this moment before everything changes.
One minute you’re packing lunches, the next you’re talking about graduation. Time moves fast. Family photos should feel like family—warm, comfortable, and a little chaotic in the best way. I guide you through the session so you can focus on each other.
I believe the most meaningful photographs happen when we slow down and truly see the people in front of us.
My goal is to create space for families to be together, not perform for the camera.
The Arizona desert offers some of the most beautiful light in the world. That golden hour glow, the way it filters through mesquite trees—I use it to create warm, timeless images.
The best images aren’t created through perfect poses—they happen when people feel comfortable enough to laugh, play, and love each other naturally.
I take the time to connect with each family member because genuine moments begin with trust.
A Photography Experience Designed Around You
You won’t have to figure everything out on your own. From choosing a location to planning outfits and preparing for your session, I’ll guide you through each step so you feel confident and ready when photo day arrives.
Every family is different, and every child deserves to feel seen. I take time to connect with your kids, understand their personalities, and create an environment where they feel comfortable being themselves.
Kids get tired. Toddlers need snacks. Teenagers aren’t always thrilled about photos. That’s real life—and it’s welcome here. We slow down, take breaks when needed, and let the best moments happen naturally.
Your gallery isn’t just a collection of images. It’s a reminder of this exact season—the laughter, the relationships, and the little details you never want to forget. Your images are delivered in a high-resolution gallery ready to share, print, and enjoy for years to come.
Your memories deserve to live beyond your phone. Whether you need help choosing prints, creating artwork for your home, or deciding how to preserve your images, I’m here to help you tell your family’s story.
Together
If you’re looking for a photographer in Avondale, Buckeye, Goodyear, or anywhere in the West Valley who values family, milestones, and genuine connection—you’re in the right place.
Being a mom to two teenagers is where I learned just how quickly time passes—and why these moments matter so much.
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me making cards, trying something new, or creating just for fun.
I love books, old photographs, family stories, and anything that helps me understand the people and moments that shape us.
Arizona’s wide-open spaces, golden light, and quiet trails will always feel like home.
“I believe the best photographs happen when people forget the camera is there. My job is to create that space—where families can just be families, and seniors can just be themselves.”
In my CanvasRebel features, I dive deeper into what drives my photography—the importance of preserving authentic moments, how motherhood shaped my perspective on family photography, and why I chose to build my business around genuine human connection rather than trends.
Most of my days are spent photographing families, seniors, and milestones across the West Valley, helping people preserve the seasons of life they never want to forget.
But every once in a while, I get the opportunity to tell a different kind of story.
Recently, I had the honor of photographing album artwork for local musician Benny Ratiu, creating images that are now being used for his music release and streaming platforms. He initially reached out for family photos so he coule make sure to have a connection between his business and his famil life but after seeing them wanted us to work together on a branding shoot for his business.
While the setting and purpose may be different, my approach stays the same: connect with the person in front of my camera, understand their story, and create images that feel true to who they are.
Whether I’m photographing a family laughing together, a senior celebrating who they are becoming, or an artist sharing their work with the world, my goal is always the same—
create photographs that feel meaningful, personal, and unforgettable.
