There’s nothing quite like the pure, unfiltered joy of welcoming a new baby into the world. Recently, I had the absolute pleasure of capturing such a special moment for a wonderful new family of three, as they welcomed their baby boy, Nash, into the world.
Avondale, AZ Photographer Captures Family's First Chapter
From the moment I basically moved into their cozy home with all my “stuff”, it was clear that this family was overflowing with love. I mean seriously. They had the genius idea to use a mattress on the floor because he sleeps on it! Where were they when I had my first who cried all the time and never slept. It was such an honor to document this precious beginning of their new journey together as a family.
Photographing Fishing Dreams of a New Daddy
One of the standout features of this shoot was the personalized theme centered around his daddy’s passion for fishing. Baby Nash was beautifully surrounded by baby fishing gear—a subtle nod to his daddy’s love of fishing. From miniature fishing rods to a jar of “fish”, it was just adorable.

Close-Up Magic from a Newborn Photographer
The close-up shots of baby Nash were so adorable. Capturing the delicate features of a newborn is always a special experience, and Nash’s little features were nothing short of adorable. His tiny fingers, peaceful sleeping face, uh! So cute!
A Family of Three in Phoenix, AZ
In addition to the fishing-themed details, we tried to get a few shots in a dino outfit but he was not having it! LOL! That’s okay we moved onto family photos. Kory’s gentle interactions with Nash, Bailey’s warm embraces, and the way they looked at their newborn with awe and adoration were beautifully captured. These images tell a story of a family coming together, full of hope and dreams for the future.
Creating Lasting Memories
The goal of this photoshoot was to create lasting memories of Nash’s first weeks of life and the beginning of his family’s new chapter. With each click of the camera, emotions—the joy, the love, the yawns and the wonder of this precious time were captured forever in digital print.
Thank you to Nash’s family for allowing me to be a part of this beautiful moment in your lives. It was a joy to photograph your new bundle of joy and to celebrate the love that surrounds him. I look forward to watching Nash grow and capturing more of these special moments in the future.
For now, enjoy this glimpse into a day filled with love, laughter, and the sweet beginnings of a family’s new adventure.
Welcome to the world, baby Nash!
