There’s nothing quite like the pure, unfiltered joy of welcoming a new baby into the world. Recently, I had the absolute pleasure of capturing such a special moment for a wonderful new family of three, as they welcomed their baby boy, Nash, into the world.

From the moment I basically moved into their cozy home with all my “stuff”, it was clear that this family was overflowing with love. I mean seriously. They had the genius idea to use a mattress on the floor because he sleeps on it! Where were they when I had my first who cried all the time and never slept. It was such an honor to document this precious beginning of their new journey together as a family.
Photographing Fishing Dreams of a New Daddy
One of the standout features of this shoot was the personalized theme centered around his daddy’s passion for fishing. Baby Nash was beautifully surrounded by baby fishing gear—a subtle nod to his daddy’s love of fishing. From miniature fishing rods to a jar of “fish”, it was just adorable.

Close-Up Magic from a Newborn Photographer
The close-up shots of baby Nash were so adorable. Capturing the delicate features of a newborn is always a special experience, and Nash’s little features were nothing short of adorable. His tiny fingers, peaceful sleeping face, uh! So cute!
A Family of Three in Phoenix, AZ
In addition to the fishing-themed details, we tried to get a few shots in a dino outfit but he was not having it! LOL! That’s okay we moved onto family photos. Kory’s gentle interactions with Nash, Bailey’s warm embraces, and the way they looked at their newborn with awe and adoration were beautifully captured. These images tell a story of a family coming together, full of hope and dreams for the future.
