A Salazar Family Christmas Photoshoot

The Salazar family has always held a special place in my heart. I’ve not only had the privilege of capturing their growth over the years, but I’ve also had both girls in my Girl Scout troop for a decade now.

What I love about Sonya is she is always game when I ask if we can try a new location out. This park was simply breathtaking. A stunning mountain in the background, while lush green grass and tree-lined walkways created a picturesque setting. The Salazars, dressed in shades of green and black, which blended seamlessly with the natural beauty of the park.

Sonya and Jose, the heart of the family, were game for anything, even a spontaneous dance session in the middle of the park, as cars drove past. Their deep love for each other was obvious, and it was a joy to capture those tender moments.

Sabrina and Selena, the older sisters, have the most beautiful flowing, raven-black hair. Sabrina, is more of the quiet one, with a gentle soul. Selena, on the other hand, is a social butterfly, always ready with a joke or a smile. Yet, they shared a sisterly love that is strong and sweet.

Their boys, JR and Joey, were bundles of energy. Joey, the younger one, was always on the move, exploring every nook and cranny of the park. JR, on the other hand, was a master of facial expressions, from adorable frowns to heartwarming smiles.

As a photographer, it’s moments like these that make my job truly rewarding. The Salazar family’s warmth, love, and genuine connection make them a dream to work with. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for this amazing family and to continue capturing their precious moments.
