KVP Creator Team's Modern Disney Photoshoot Reveal
OMW! You HAVE to see the magic the KVP Creator Team brought to our May photoshoot! As a West Phoenix Valley photographer, working with this incredible team is always a highlight, and this session was definitely one for the books! We landed on a “Disney Reboot” theme, and honestly, they absolutely crushed it!
One of the best things about the KVP Creator Team is that they have an active part in brainstorming and deciding what our styled photoshoots look like. It’s a truly collaborative process! When we realized so many of them shared a love for all things Disney, letting that inspire a session felt like the most natural (and fun!) thing to do.
If Disney Characters Lived in 2025 | West Phoenix, AZ
The idea wasn’t just about the clothes; it was about their imagination. I asked: If your favorite Disney character existed today, right here in the west valley of Phoenix, AZ, what would their style be? What vibe would they give off? How would they dress for a modern world? Each creator chose a character and put their own unique, contemporary spin on it.
Character Spotlight: Modern Disney Interpretations (Can You Guess Who's Who?)
The creativity blew me away! Can you guess who each Creator Team member channeled? We had a modern interpretation of:
- 💚 Princess Tiana (The Princess and the Frog)
- 🏹 Merida (Brave)
- ⚓ Prince Eric (The Little Mermaid)
- 📚 Belle (Beauty and the Beast)
- 🎀 Marie (The Aristocats)
Some brought props that added an extra layer their character’s modern-day persona. Uh, seriously, this was one of my all-time fav shoots – the energy and creativity were off the charts!

Weathering the (Arizona!) Storm
If you live here in Phoenix, Arizona you know that most days are sunshine all around but every once in a while, we get a crazy storm that can roll in really fast. We lost our light much quicker than I planned and unfortunately had to wrap things up a bit early. One of creators even had to duck out before we could get a whole group shot before the weather got really bad. We still managed to capture SO many incredible shots filled with personality and style. It’s all about adapting and making the most of the moment we are given.

This Disney Reboot session was absolute blast and a fantastic showcase of the KVP Creator Team’s creativity and teamwork! Helping to bring this idea to life was so much fun!
