Liana’s Back to School Session
My first ever Back to School “Who They Are Today” minis could not have gone better, and sweet Liana was a huge part of that.
These sessions aren’t about stiff poses or forced school photo smiles. They’re about capturing who your child really is, right now — the treasures they carry everywhere, the books they can’t stop reading, the little details that make this season of life so sweet. It’s about freezing the quirks and favorites that tell the story of their childhood.
Liana showed up with her treasures — her beloved Encanto dolls and her well-loved Junie B. Jones book (and yes, she can already read it!). She wore her hair in pigtails, looking every bit the real-life Rapunzel, with her adorable cherry top and shoes. Her outfit was spot on — but what really stole the show was her personality.
She has such a way of lighting up in front of the camera. Every time I photograph her, she brings this sweet spark that never fails to shine through in the photos. These are the memories that matter: the dolls she carries everywhere, the book she’s so proud to read, the pigtails that might not last another year.
And that’s what these sessions are about. Not school photo perfection, but real, emotional, unforgettable pieces of who your child is today.
