This past weekend was my first market of the season—and I was flying solo! While I missed my friends from MM Ranch Services Mobile Petting Zoo, I still had an amazing time. I got to photograph some truly wonderful families, couples, kids, and dogs in my booth. It just felt good to be back—like coming home.
That’s the thing about the Waddell Farmers Market—it has this cozy, small-town “Cheers” vibe where everyone knows your name. I have my favorite tortilla guy (his tortillas taste like something straight from my childhood—the kind the Mayanes used to make). My kids eat them like candy.
I met the sweetest momma who started her own clothing business—she designs her own fabric, and let me tell you, as a photographer, her style is chef’s kiss. If you’re looking for baby clothes that photograph beautifully, go check her out.
And of course, there’s the flower bus, overflowing with fresh blooms so you can create your own custom bouquet—trust me, your heart will soar when you see it. 🌸
Oh, and I finally met the Salsa King himself. Not only does his salsa burn in the best way possible, but he even stepped into my booth for a few photos!
