Peace, Love, and Disco: Wrapping Up the KVP Creator Team Season with a 70s Dream

Peace, Love, and... Emotions?

I am so emotional about this last KVP creator team photoshoot. Our final KVP Creator Team photoshoot of the season was nothing short of groovy, and I may or may not have teared up more than once editing the photos. It wasn’t just the epicness of the shoot (and oh, it was epic)—it was the fact that this was our last session of the season. I’m so proud of these girls, and while I’m taking a little time to prep for next season, I’m already buzzing with excitement because of how incredible this one turned out. And next season? It’s going to be even better.

But let’s get into this session—because it deserves all the spotlight.

The Studio That Understood the Assignment

The girls asked for a decades-themed shoot, and as soon as I saw the 70s retro daydream room at Studio House AZ – The Loft, I knew it was the one. That space is groovy perfection. Studio House really outdid themselves—the colors, the textures, the vibes! Every single corner screamed “photo op,” and I couldn’t spin around without seeing a new angle I wanted to capture. Photographer heaven.

Disco Fits & Fashion Goals

And then there were the outfits. OH. MY. WORD.

In the past I had the girls submit three outfit options each, and normally I’d help them choose the most cohesive look for the group. But this time, I put together a Canva style guide—complete with example shots from the studio and a color palette to guide them. The result? Pure gold.

From Dixie’s hot pink pantsuit and sparkle disco heels to Lily’s flared jeans and perfectly vintage brown jacket, the whole team got the assignment. They looked straight out of a 70s fashion magazine—if that magazine had sass, friendship, and a retro items in every frame.

Season Finale, Not Goodbye

And the vibe? Channeling their inner Charlie’s Angels like it was second nature. I’m talking big attitude, bigger energy, and a confidence that absolutely radiated on camera. Chef’s kiss to these stars in the making.

Even though this was our season finale, my hope is that many of the girls will be back for the next round. We’ve got a list of dream shoots we didn’t get to yet—ideas they came up with—and I can’t wait to bring those visions to life next season.

To My Creator Team...

To my KVP Creator Team: You are bold, brilliant, creative, and a total joy to photograph. I adore you.

That’s it. That’s the post.
