On October 4th, I had the absolute joy of being part of the Bark & Treats Event at Alamar Park in Avondale, AZ, and let me tell you—it was pawsitively amazing. My fall backdrop was busy all day with the cutest lineup of furry friends you could imagine.
I photographed 25 pups, each one bursting with personality (and costumes!). From a little “prisoner” pup doing time for stealing treats, to a firefighter on a mission, to the most perfect Gizmo you’ve ever seen—every dog brought their own magic. My cheeks actually hurt from smiling so much.
But there’s one sweet soul I just have to highlight: Laurel.
Laurel is a beautiful hound/pittie mix who’s currently looking for her forever home. She’s crate-trained, knows her sit and stay, and has a heart the size of Arizona. She loves everyone—dogs, kids, humans—and she gives the best cuddles. If you’ve ever thought about adding a new best friend to your life, Laurel might just be the one.
While Bark & Treats only happens once a year, you can still catch me (and my camera) out in the community! I’ll be at the Waddell Farmers Market every other Sunday with my seasonal backdrops—ready to capture more adorable moments with you and your pups.
