West Valley Photography Session Pricing
Simple, honest pricing. A photography experience made for you.
Every session begins with one Signature Session and can be personalized from there. Your session includes planning, professional photography, edited digital images, and travel throughout my standard West Valley service area.
The Signature Session Base Rate
Up to 60 minutes to slow down, connect, and preserve the season you’re in right now.
Your session includes:
- Up to 60 minutes of photography
- 25 professionally edited digital images
- Private online gallery for viewing and downloading
- Pre-session consultation and planning
- Help choosing the right location
- Travel within my standard West Valley service area*
Sessions typically book 3–4 weeks in advance.

Have another Arizona location in mind? I’m happy to travel! Locations outside my standard service area simply include an additional travel fee based on the destination.
Have somewhere special in mind?
I love photographing families beyond the West Valley, too. Travel fees cover the additional time and expenses required to photograph your session outside my standard service area.
For destinations more than 100 miles away or sessions requiring overnight travel, I’ll provide a custom travel quote before you book.

Some special locations or studios charge separately for photography.
Most outdoor locations don’t require an additional venue fee, but some studios, private properties, farms, gardens, and parks charge photographers for rentals or permits.
When a location fee applies, it is separate from your session and travel rate and is passed along at the venue’s current rate.

MINI SESSIONS
Mini sessions with Kim VanOs Photography are short, creative photoshoots offered on select dates and locations throughout the year. These sessions are scheduled in advanced and available only during the limited time slots released for each mini session.

Desert Vacation Photography
As an officially listed Airbnb Experiences photographer, I’m your go-to gal for epic desert photos! To create your one-of-a-kind Western photoshoot experience, you can book with me directly or right through the Airbnb platform. We can capture your story against breathtaking desert views, visit classic farms with mountain backdrops and sweet farm animals, or even shoot at a stylized Western ranch setup.
What should we wear?
Once booked, I’ll send my KVP Welcome Guidee to help your family or graduate feel confident and coordinated without the stress.
What happens if my kids don’t cooperate or senior doesn't want their photos taken?
Don’t worry — I keep sessions relaxed, playful, and child-led to capture genuine moments naturally.
For senior graduates I connect with them and meet them where they are at.
Where are you located and where do sessions take place?
I’m based in Avondale, AZ and photograph sessions throughout the greater Phoenix area. Sessions can take place outdoors, in your home, or at select studios and specialty locations.
When will I receive my gallery?
Your fully edited gallery will be delivered within 2 weeks of your session or the date you let me know your selected photos.
What happens before my session?
Every session includes an email consultation to discuss your vision, choose a location, and answer any questions before your session.
A non-refundable retainer is required at the time of booking to secure your session date and time.
Is the Signature Session right for us?
If you value relaxed sessions, real connection, and photos that feel like your life—not a performance—then yes. This session was designed with that exact experience in mind.
How do location fees work?
Locations will be a line item on your invoice and treated as part of the overall package price.
What are add-ons and do I need to decide at booking?
Add customize your photography experience. Some will need to be determined at booking and others can wait until after your receive your gallery.
