Broken Dolls – The KVP Creator Team Gets a Little Creepy (and a Lot Creative)

The KVP Creator Team’s second shoot of the 2025–2026 season did not disappoint. The girls absolutely blew me away with their creativity for our Broken Dolls theme — and honestly? I might have even creeped myself out at one point. (Yes, you read that right. I’m the photographer, and I got spooked. 😂)

But that’s the beauty of this group — even in the middle of being eerie, cracked porcelain dolls, they managed to laugh, support one another, and turn the whole thing into pure creative magic.

Each girl brought her own spin to the concept. One showed up in an old vintage wedding dress — lace, giant bow, the works. Another rocked pigtails and a brown prairie dress that gave off perfect haunted-doll vibes. One wore all black and white vest fully committed to being a marionette, strings and all. And another? She took it a step further and wore an old dance costume to became the puppet master. Ahhhhh… chills, right?

We leaned into the drama — pale makeup, haunting stares, and twisted poses that somehow still managed to show off their personalities. The lighting and backdrop added to the effect, and by the end of the session, we had everything from eerie elegance to creepy-cute chaos.

What I love most about sessions like this is watching these girls stretch their creativity. They collaborate, they experiment, and they aren’t afraid to look a little weird or wild in the process. It’s not just about the photos — it’s about building confidence, trying new ideas, and seeing art come to life in front of the lens.

If this is how they’re starting the new season, I can’t wait to see what they bring royalty/prom to life next month.

Here’s to the KVP Creator Team — the most creative, fearless, and slightly spooky group of girls I know.
