Oh my goodness—twins! I have to admit, when Jessi reached out and told me she’d be bringing her two-week-old twin boys, Ryan and Rayce, I felt a mix of excitement and nerves. Newborn sessions can be delicate, and with two tiny clients, I knew it would take patience, flexibility, and a lot of love. But the moment they arrived, those nerves melted away. These boys were even tinier (and cuter!) in person, and I was instantly smitten. The Twilight Room at Vision Studios in Goodyear, AZ was the perfect backdrop for Mother’s Day minis, and it did not disappoint!

Watching Jessi with her babies was something special. She exuded this peaceful, joyful energy that made the session feel calm and full of warmth—exactly the vibe every newborn photographer dreams of. What made it even sweeter? She brought her mom and aunt along. I always love seeing multi-generational support, especially during those early days of motherhood. It’s such a gift to witness strong women surrounding new moms with encouragement and love.

Ryan and Rayce reminded me so much of a close friend’s twins—now graduating high school—which honestly took me back in time. Photographing these tiny boys felt like freezing a moment I know flies by all too fast. Their sleepy yawns, curled-up toes, and the way they instinctively snuggled close to each other—it’s a kind of magic that only twins bring.
